The Genesis
Creative Word Ministries International, the Church with the Word for the World, founded on the Solid Rock by God, through a small group of committed men and women led by the Rev Amos Kayode in Lagos, has transformed into a divine legacy that today assumes a global dimension.
It all began with Rev Amos Kayode, a Pastor of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), and a dynamic leader and pastor of RCCG Love Assembly Parish, Helpers Place, Lagos. He was given a divine permission to launch out the call of God upon his life. Thus in March 19, 2000, they started first as a “church in the house” at his residence at No 1, Owa Close, Valley Estate, Dopemu Lagos. The church then included Sister Kemi, Eyo Iniobong, Johnson Alisi, Dixon Adelanke and Funmi Kayode.
The Church began to grow, and later moved to her first place of worship (as tenant) at 52, Sule Street in Agege Lagos and from there, moved to her first building (as landlord) in 2004. It is worthy of note that Creative Word Ministries International became an incorporated body in Nigeria in 2000. The Church that started with barely 6 people has grown so large today.
The Church is being directed by the Holy Spirit through the Executive Council, which is headed by the Senior Pastor Rev Amos Kayode. Since the inception of the church, the Lord has blessed the work with alot of testimonies to confirm His call upon His servant. By His grace, we are still growing and extending. To God be the glory.

Bishop A. kayode
Bishop Amos B Kayode is an anointed man of God who teaches the word of God with simplicity and clarity to bring about the progressive perfection of the saints by the realization and actualization of their potentials in God. He has a mandate from God to eliminate ignorance by the manifold wisdom of God and that is responsible for his insatiable passion for knowledge. He is known for his anointed messages on wisdom, holiness, foundations, restoration and identity. These messages have taken him to nations and he believes God for more open doors to make the mystery of God’s word known to all men. Called into the ministry in 1989 when in the University, under a great unction of the Holy Spirit with a mandate to take the gospel to nations of the world, he wasn’t given the permission to launch out until March 19, 2000. He has been through several trainings in various established churches which is making the vision come into fulfillment. Presently, he is the President and Senior Pastor of Creative Word Ministries International. He is married to Funmi and they are blessed with three lovely children, Mercy, Goodness and Favour.
Rev Funmi Kayode
Rev Funmi Kayode is an anointed woman of God. Filled with the Holy Ghost and power, she ministers with divine unction from God. With the prayer ministry given to her by God, she has a mandate to change the world and impact this generation prayerfully. She is the first member/convert of Creative Word Chapel. She precedes over the prayer ministry/department of the church. She is married to Rev Amos Kayode, the Senior Pastor of Creative Word Ministries and are blessed with Mercy, Goodness and Favour.
